Guthrie High School students Trenda LeGrande and Brody Hinkle were named students of the month by the Lions Club for the month of October.
LeGrande, the daughter of Chris and Sharolyn LeGrande, has participated in softball for four years, basketball for two, FFA for two and has been a part of National Honor Society for three years.
She was a part of two regional championship softball teams (2015 and 2018) and was a member of the 2018 Girls State.
LeGrande plans to attend Southern Nazarene University and major in nursing.
Hinkle, the son of Terry and Kim Hinkle, is a member of the Guthrie High School football and baseball teams and a member of the National Honor Society.
Hinkle participated in Boys State this past year. On the gridiron, he has become one of the go to receivers and was named Player of the Week for his performance against Enid.
The senior says he will attend Oklahoma State University beginning next fall.
