The City of Guthrie will be selling surplus properties in late November as declared by the city council in their goal of selling excess city property.
Twice each year the media publishes a list of personal gifts received by legislators from registered lobbyists. The reason this list is published each six months is due to the fact that lobbyists are required to report their gift giving up until the end of June and until the end of December.

On Monday afternoon inside a Logan County court house, a judge ordered Amy L. Holder to pay $5,000 after being found of child abuse in the case of two-year-old Naomi Whitecrow.
A benefit concert was held Sunday afternoon on a well drawn up day from mother nature as the Guthrie Animal Shelter and God’s Food Bank benefited from local music artists.

UPDATE: A 4.7 magnitude quake struck, Monday, at 8:47 p.m. 5 miles NW of Prague, OK. The quake was felt by many in the Guthrie area. That is now three quakes in the last three days. For the second time in a 24 hour span, Oklahoma and Guthrie have witness an earthquake.
The United States Geological Survey confirmed a 4.7-magnitude earthquake in central Oklahoma on Saturday morning. The quake was felt by many in Guthrie.

A Guthrie school bus was involved in an early morning accident involving two other vehicles in south Logan County Friday morning.
