The Oklahoma Department of Transportation announced the northbound I-35 off-ramp to US-77/Division St. (mile marker 153) in Guthrie will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday for safety device replacement.

Northbound I-35 will be narrowed to one lane at the Cimarron River (mm 165), approximately eight miles north of SH-33 in Guthrie, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday for bridge maintenance.

A combined effort between Bikers Backing The Blue and Route 66 Biker Rally will host a benefit ride beginning in Guthrie with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the family of fallen Logan County Deputy David Wade.
Funeral services for Deputy David James Wade, 40, of Guthrie, will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Lazy E Arena. The public is invited to attend as well as invited to line up Noble Ave. (State Highway 33) for the funeral procession to Summit View Cemetery.
