NORMAN—LaMoyne Hardin, owner and operator of the Hardin Insurance Agency in Guthrie, was recognized as a 2015 AFR Insurance Top Producer at the 2016 American Farmers & Ranchers/Oklahoma Farmers Union (AFR/OFU) 111th State Convention in Norman February 19.

The Logan County Public Works Authority (PWA) agreed to a $150,000 tax increment financing (TIF) with Love’s Travel Stop, a similar approach the City of Guthrie agreed too in assistance with a public sanitary sewer system east of Interstate 35.

Logan County appears it will be seeing another large convenience store being constructed along Interstate 35. It’s uncertain when the store will open, or when construction will begin, but dirt work could be as early as this month.
The Wednesday morning Guthrie Chamber of Commerce Coffee was held at the all-new Love’s Travel Stop. The store’s general manager handed out two donations worth $2,000, which went toward children in Guthrie.
Love’s Travel Stops opened its third and largest store in Guthrie on Thursday morning, along the rapid growing area of Highway 33 and Interstate 35. The opening takes Love’s past the mark of 300 travel stops.
