A Logan County jury found a man guilty on three counts of rape in the first degree and three counts of lewd molestation charges arising from the man’s sexual abuse of his two daughters and one of their friends. The verdict came down on Thursday afternoon.
A Crescent man sits in the Logan County Jail and is facing serious sex crimes. The alleged victim in the case sadly is a child.

Pittsburg County officials confirmed on Tuesday morning what many in Logan County had feared on Monday following a drilling rig explosion in southeast Oklahoma. One of the five workers who is unaccounted for is from Crescent.

The City of Crescent is having a 10-day amnesty period for unpaid tickets from September 11 through September 21. During this time, the City will waive all failure to appear, pay and comply fees attached to citations that are unpaid. The failure to appear (FTA) fee is usually 300 dollars.
