It was a well-below voter turnout on Tuesday for the Guthrie school board and city council elections. Less than five percent of eligible voters decided the election for the school board seat.

Friday, July 29, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the August 23 City of Guthrie, Crescent Public School, Deer Creek Public School Special Election and Runoff Primary Election, Logan County Election Board Secretary Erin Dorio said today.
Voters in Logan County were excited to go out and cast their ballot for their candidate on Tuesday. However, several registered Democrat voters were turned away from casting their vote. Now, many are wanting to see a change.
