Tuesday, May 8th from noon to 1:00 we will have our regularly scheduled Educational Series with Insurance Commissioner John Doak. He would like to discuss insurance issues, including workers compensation that business owners may be having in the state. This would allow him to take issues to the Capital and try to obtain resolution.
Saturday, May 12th the Guthrie Edmond Regional Airport will have a Community Day from 8a.m. to 4p.m. View General aviation airplanes, WWII Warbirds, Gyrocopters, Military aircraft and much more. The Young Eagles will be taking kids ages 8 thru 17 for free plane rides from 9a.m. to 3p.m. parent or guardian must sign a release. For more information go to www.youngeagles.org. Saturday, May 12th at 8p.m., the Pollard Theatre is having a “Special Concert” hosted by Grammy Award winning fiddler, Bryon Berline.
