Environmental Management, Inc, has been the largest single corporate/employee campaign for the United Way of Logan County for the past two years and this year it had set its target for an even higher level on contribution.
Kristal Flury, EMI campaign coordinator says, “This year we targeted not only a very high financial goal, but also a goal to have every employee contribute to the campaign. It is our feeling that everyone is able to give something to help their fellow citizens of Logan County. The EMI employees had fun during the campaign, as attested to by the recent “water fight for fun(ds)” event, and they are dedicated to helping others throughout our communities. They want to make a difference!”
Price Purvis, United Way of Logan County Coordinator, puts it this way, “From the leadership on down, EMI employees show a commitment each year to support the United Way and the partnering agencies. They lead the way, not only by being a pacesetter organization, but also being a model business in the way they carry out their campaign. Kristal does a fantastic job of making all the employees aware of what the United Way does, what the partner agencies do, and the many people who are helped throughout the year. Then they go out and raise the funds and have a great deal of fun in the process.”
Ashleigh Sorrel Rose, United Way Director noted, “Last year EMI raised over $14,000 and this year their leadership and campaign coordinator set the bar even higher —- and they reached it by contributing over $19,000 and achieving a 100% participation. Having 100% participation in the campaign is outstanding achievement for an organization of 45 employees. They should all be very proud of their accomplishments!”
Congratulations EMI for a job well done!
