A Special Gift for Veterans — Brick Pavers at Honor Park

The Veterans Memorial at Honor Park in downtown Guthrie recognizes the service of veterans in a very special way with the installation of brick pavers inscribed with the military members name, rank, branch of service and period of service.

Jerry Ball, Post 58 Legion Commander, noted, “It is a wonderful way to honor those men and women who are serving or have served this great country.  It makes for a special present for those ‘hard to buy for’ individuals and is a lasting recognition in this place of honor.”

The bricks are available for $40 each and can be purchased at the American Legion Post, 123 N. First Street in Guthrie. The application form is also available by emailing: sgentling@cox.net .

Any veteran or active duty member is eligible to be “thanked and honored” by these brick pavers.
