The City of Guthrie announced two new manufacturing businesses locating in Guthrie.
The new manufacturing companies are King Nail and Cimarron Aerospace.
“The manufacturing base of Guthrie, Oklahoma has expanded by the establishment of two new companies,” City Manager Bruce Johnson said.
King Nail has relocated its operation from Vietnam and California. Utilizing state-of- the-art computer numeric control manufacturing systems, King Nail manufactures and markets rapid fire nails for pallet, crafting, and roofing industries. King Nail is establishing operations in a thirty-five thousand square foot facility in the Stewart Industries Industrial Complex. Scott Griffith, President of King Nail, estimates his company will employ over forty personnel.
Cimarron Aerospace is a startup operation that will manufacture components for the aerospace industry at-large. Mike Burnett, Director of Operations, estimates that Cimarron Aerospace will be in full operation by August of this year. Burnett estimates Cimarron Aerospace will employ twenty personnel.
Johnson stated that the establishment of both companies is a great example of what happens when various local and state agencies come together for the common goal of creating jobs. Johnson especially thanks Kay Wade of the Logan County Economic Development Council, Pat Crane of the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance, Von Coburn of Keller Williams Realty and the Meridian Technology Center for their help in bringing these companies to Guthrie.
So will Cimarron Aerospace be located at the same place?
