Logan County Assessor’s Office Seeking to Hire Field Appraiser
Daily duties involve visual inspection of properties to gather data for county assessment purposes.
Requirements: Ability to attend training for certification over a six-month period by Zoom or in person, Tues-Fri once per month or shorter classes twice per month or as scheduled through OSU Center for Local Government Technology (CLGT). Ability to pass certification tests with score of at least 70%.
Ability to read and locate property descriptions from maps and other source materials.
Ability to measure various types of construction.
Job requires drug test; good driving record; attention to detail, self-motivation; ability to plan for efficient use of time; good rapport with public and co-workers; public service mentality and physical ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions. Computer knowledge a plus.

I’m sorry, but I really do NOT like this new layout!!! Very difficult to see and difficult to maneuver through! Also, it’s not up to date!!
I understand with a new layout there will be a learning curve for everyone. I’m still working on some of the fine details as well to make the site the best that it can be. Hopefully, the transition will become smooth.
There is a search button at the top of each page that you can fill out to help find any matching words. It is a really good tool.
