Adam Soltani to speak at Trinity Episcopal Church

Adam Soltani, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Council on Islamic Relations, will be the guest speaker at Trinity Episcopal Church, 310 East Noble Avenue in Guthrie, on Sunday, October 12. His topic will be “Islam in Today’s World.”

This is the last of a series called “Islam: An Introduction,” which has run for four Sundays at Trinity. The talk is open to the public. He will be speaking at 10 AM. Trinity is located at 310 East Noble Avenue in Guthrie.

Soltani is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, where his studies focused on sociology and the development of an American Muslim identity. He has served the Muslim community in various capacities as a professional including promoting and managing American Muslim artists, serving as an assistant director for outreach at the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, coordinating youth development programs at the Islamic Society of Edmond, and being one of the founding members of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. His written commentary is regularly featured in the Oklahoma Gazette and Red Dirt Report, and he has been interviewed by local, national, and international broadcast media.
