A Guthrie man is out on a $15,000 bond after being charged on three counts, including first-degree rape, lewd molestation and forcible oral sodomy. The female victim says her step-dad started to sexually abuse her when she was just 12-years-old.
Charges were filed against Kristopher Lee Turman, 40, on Dec. 5 for the alleged acts that are said to have first occurred in 2011.
The female, who was interviewed at a Oklahoma City Care Center, discussed several instances of sexual abuse, including forcible oral sodomy. She could not recall how many times they had sex but that it “happened a lot.”
In a 13 page court document, the alleged victim, now 15, says the acts began with touching and kissing, but turned to intercourse following a family vacation. She says she felt “uncomfortable” and told Turman “that it was hurting, so he stopped.”
She stated a few times stood out because she almost threw up and would cry almost every time they had sex.
The report says the abuse took place outside, in an abandoned house, the lake and in his car.
The victim says Turman told her he did it out of love for her and “we couldn’t tell mom because she would be angry.” Turman is also accused of saying he would go to jail, not see his daughter ever again or lose his job.
Turman is said to have bought the victim alcohol, cigarettes, a sexual toy and lace outfits.
In a forensic interview, the mother asked if the child had said anything about a birthmark. It was later determined the child had knowledge of Turman having a small circular birthmark on the tip of his penis.
Turman is expected back in the courtroom on Feb. 19 at 2 p.m.
