Its Groundhog Day! Well, not quite yet, but its lurking and the First United Methodist Church is set to celebrate by satisfying your taste buds.
The annual Groundhog Dinner hosted by the church is set for February 7 at the Logan County Fairgrounds. Along with lunch and/or dinner, a silent auction will be held.
The menu includes homemade sausage, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, green beans, cole slaw, drinks and desserts.
The church is offering serving times of 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Take out orders are welcomed as are deliveries. You’re asked to call after 9 a.m. at (405) 282-0926.
Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for kids (10-and-under). To purchase tickets in advance call the church office (405) 282-4297.
All proceeds will go toward church projects at First United Methodist Church.
