The Guthrie Police Department is searching for an endangered child after being found in horrific living conditions.
On Saturday, July 21 officers were requested to do a welfare check on a two-year-old child in the 1000 block of S. Hazel.
Officers contacted a white female, who gave the name Daly Stegall, and a male child. However, it was later determined the female’s true name was Sacy Dawn Stegall.
During the encounter, the female and child went back into the residence and fled out the back door into a wooded area.
Inside the residence, which did not have electricity or running water, officers located rotting food, maggots and both human and animal feces.
Sacy Stegall has an outstanding Logan County Warrant on an assault and battery charge.
Christopher Dean Thompson was also believed to be in the residence and fled with Stegall and the child.
Anyone with information about Stegall’s, Thompson’s or the child’s whereabouts is asked to call the Guthrie Police Department at 405-282-3535.
