Earlier this month, Avery Wooden competed in the Our Diamond Miss side supplemental pageant “Diamond Girl.” At the same time, she was also giving up her main pageant title in Diamond Miss, National Teen Miss Model.
Avery, the daughter of Jeff and Dena Wooden, competed against approximately 95 girls from five states and won her age division for both National Teen Diamond Girl (four modeling categories and talent) and National Teen Sweepstakes (four modeling categories and photogenic and portfolio).
Later that evening, Avery performed a song in the outgoing queen production and gave her last walk, speech and slideshow. Afterwards, she crowned her successor.
Avery gave special recognition to Molly and Kenny Wilson, National Directors and her friends, family and the community of Guthrie for all of their support to help her reach her goals.
