The reality hit show Bait Car has been a popular television show. While there was no cameras filming late, Saturday evening in Logan County, two juveniles took the bait.
According to radio traffic, three Logan County Deputies responded to the area near the Bella Terra housing addition, located east of I-35 near Waterloo Road when their bait car was seen moving by a tracking device.
The bait car was planted sometime Friday evening. When the vehicle took off, it was tracked by a dispatcher using a GPS device. The dispatcher then gave the deputies a play-by-play of where the truck was traveling.
Deputies followed the vehicle until a Captain was in position to hit the remote switch to shut the vehicle down and locking the doors to trap the juveniles, who had nowhere to go.
Authorities believe the same juveniles may be responsible for several auto thefts and burglaries in recent weeks.
