The BlueJay baseball team swept their two regional games on Thursday in dominating fashion by a combine score of 39-1.
The Jays need a win either on Friday evening or Saturday afternoon.
Guthrie put 13 runs on the board in the first inning against Southeast en route to the 22-0 win. The team finished with 16 hits.
In the winners bracket games against El Reno, who defeated Duncan 11-3, the BlueJays scored in five of the six innings before run-ruling the Indians in the sixth.
Senior Clint Simek was 5-6 and three RBI’s on the day. Fellow senior Hayden Seifert knocked in three runs in the second game.
The Jays will play the winner between Duncan and El Reno at 6:00 p.m.
