Brianna Berryman signed her letter of intent with Cowley County to play collegiate tennis. The GHS senior signed with family by her side as classmates and teammates watched on inside the Guthrie High School library on Friday morning.
Also in attendance was Cowley County first year head coach Charity Andrews.
Cowley County entered the 2017 season ranked No. 4 in the national pre-season poll and have captured three straight Region VI tennis titles and placed seventh at last year’s NJCAA Division I National Tennis Championships in Tyler, Texas.
Berryman has proven to be a staple for GHS tennis head coach Mary Hudson.
“I want to thank everyone. Thank you for supporting me,” Berryman said to the packed audience in the library.
