3:41 – Guthrie EMS just received their sixth medical call since the start of fires. All medical calls are unrelated to the fires.
3:28 – This fire is not in the Guthrie Public School district. No Guthrie buses will be affected for the ride home.
3:25 – Blackhawk helicopter drops 600 gallons of water on house fire on Sherwood Lane.
3:23 – Guthrie EMS just received their 5th medical call since the start of fires.
3:04 – Traffic will be stopped at Simmons Rd to allow fire trucks into this third house fire. This fire is south of the original grass fire. Again, two separate fires in Logan County.
2:58 – A second fire has started behind a home on Sherwood Lane and Broadway. A house is on fire. This fire is a second fire.
2:20 – Structure just outside of a tank battery has caught fire.
2:13 – The head of the fire is now contained.
2:12 – Now a fourth medical call into Guthrie EMS since responding to the fire.
2:11 – Firefighters calling off one of the two structure fires to currently protect other homes.
2:09 – TV helicopter shows the fire appears to have started behind a home.
2:01 – Another home is now on fire. Believe this is the second home.
2:00 – Guthrie EMS has received three medical calls since this wildfire has broken out.
1:53 – Multiple structures on fire, including at least one mobile home.
1:49 – The fire is moving extremely fast with wind gusts up to 24 mph out of the southwest (moving to the northeast). Humidity is currently at 27 percent (very low).
1:48 – This fire is almost three miles north of Waterloo Road and several homes are in danger.
1:41 – Evacuations are soon to begin.
1:38 – Sheriff’s Office is closing down roads, including Simpson Rd and Brandon Lane.
1:38 – Report of two houses involved with this fire.
1:35 – Several fire agencies are responding to a wildfire in southern Logan County near Charter Oak and Broadway.
