Our next big project is the FreeWheel which I mentioned several months ago. We now have less than a month to finalize plans for the 850 bike riders that will be descending on us. It’s important for all restaurants to know how busy they will be that Wednesday, June 13th.
The convenience and grocery stores along with the restaurants out on the Exit 157 entrance could have a large flux of bicyclist Thursday morning because their route is taking them out on Hwy 33 to Drumright. Wednesday they are coming from Watonga taking county road 73 through Dover and then to Hwy. 74C into Guthrie. They will come in on Wentz and then down Oklahoma Avenue to the 5th Street bridge then over to the Cottonwood Flats. This is a project that welcomes everyone in the community to be involved. We need golf carts to valet luggage and bikers to their campsite once they have traveled their 70 miles. We are also looking for entertainers for Wednesday night’s show. If you would like to help, please give us a call at 282-1947.
