Hello! The Lions Club wanted me to tell you they are having their all you care to eat, Sausage and Pancake Feast this Friday, March 28th at the American Legion Building from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. then from 5 to 7 p.m. Take out is available, price is $8 adults and kids under 10 $5.
March 29th Relay for Life is holding their annual Sweetheart Sweetheat Chili/Dessert cook-off at 6:30pm at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. Enter your own chili or dessert for only $10. Attend and enjoy the great food for $7, all proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. For more information contact Tina Heyvaert, 282-4415. Saturday, March 29th at the American Legion Hall, 123 N. 1st at 4 p.m. The Rock “Encouragement Through the Journey of Caregiving” Determination, Perseverance, Endurance, Strength, Courage, Hope, Peace and Rest. Performances by the Logan County Heritage Choir. There is no charge to attend, rsvp 1-800-272-3900.
Ducks Unlimited is holding their State Convention in Guthrie! April 5th that morning from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. they will have an EXPO at the Logan County Fairgrounds, 215 Fairgrounds road. Vendors are welcome and admission is FREE! Contact Tim Miller at 593-2657. That evening a fundraising banquet will be held at the American Legion at 6 p.m. The price of admission included a one year membership to Ducks Unlimited and dinner! $60 a single, $80 per couple Tickets can be purchased at the door.
This week’s Chamber Coffee is hosted by Daniel’s Drug and Compounding Pharmacy located at 206 W. Oklahoma, everyone is welcome to attend, coffee begins at 9:30 a.m. I hope you have a great week in Guthrie!
