Are you looking for a way to get involved with the Guthrie community?  Think about working with the Territorial Christmas Committee. They work all year long on fun projects which helps make a great experience in December for our visitors. Their next meeting is March 26 at 6p.m. at 212 W. Oklahoma.

This is the last week for the Lenten Lunches; it will be held at the First Christian Church at noon on Wednesday.  John Borrego will be the guest speaker.

The Guthrie High School Vocal Music presents “The Wizard of OZ”, March 28 to 30at Favor Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $8, Students $5. Call 282-5906 or email [email protected] for more information.

United States Senator, Tom Coburn is holding a town hall meeting at the Oklahoma Sports Museum, Wednesday, April 3rd from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

On Friday, April 5 the Guthrie Noon Lions Pancake Feed will be serving our annual pancake and sausage meal for lunch (11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.) and dinner (5 p.m. – 7 p.m.) at the American Legion Building, 123 N. 1st Street.  Funds raised will help support our many local service projects like free eyeglasses and eye exams for those in need.

The Territorial Riders of Guthrie are at it again. They are raising money to support the local Special Olympics program with a Poker Run. You don’t have to have a motorcycle to participate, cars are welcome! Its $20 per single and $25 per couple, the ride begins Friday, April 6 at 11 a.m. on the corner of East Oklahoma and North Drexel.

This week’s Chamber Coffee will be hosted by Hoboken Coffee Roasters followed by a Ribbon Cutting. They are located at 2241/2 S. Division behind Dr. Ding.  Don’t forget to bring your business cards for the drawing, everyone is welcome!
