All you Bakers mark your calendars for March 28th! The Logan County Bake Show & Food Showdown begins at 9am at the Logan County Fairgrounds Education Building. There are multiple divisions: yeast breads, quick breads, cakes, cookies, candy, pies, and picnic basket. Cash awards will be presented; First place will receive $75, 2nd is $50, and 3rd is $25. I was asked to pass the word on about this; Hollywoodland is casting for the ABC television program Extreme Weightloss. Casting calls in 10 cities nationwide for Season 6. They have moved a block north, and across the street at 115 N. 2nd St. They aren’t letting a little move slow them down, though, they have already had 2 “Living Room Concerts” in their new location! St. Mary Catholic School is having their annual Mardi Gras Art Auction, February 13th from 6pm to 9pm at The Dominion House! There will be wonderful food, a romantic atmosphere, live dance music, and an art auction! Please join them for the fun!
