In an effort to promote Jr. golf, Cimarron National is hosting its first Jr. Golf Tournament on Sunday afternoon, September 21st. We are very excited for this event and are looking forward to renewing the interest of golf with the youth in our area. Golf is truly a sport you can enjoy for a lifetime….just ask Duffy, who will celebrate his 99th birthday in May. There will be 3 age divisions for boys and girls. The entry fee is only $25 for ages 15 – 17 and 12 – 14; which includes the 18 hole green fee, range balls and awards. Also, we are having a 9 hole division for 11 and under for $20. We will provide scorers for the youngest division. Tee times will begin at 1:00 on Sunday, September 21st. All paid entries designating age and gender must be received by September 19th, at Cimarron National Golf Club, 500 Duffy’s Way, Guthrie, OK 73044. You may also stop by the pro shop or Exit Realty on Oklahoma Avenue in Guthrie, or pay over the phone with a credit card (282-7888). We are also still having our Tuesday evening special promoting family golf. This is reserved for families and beginners. After 4:00 on Tuesdays only, on Aqua Canyon, two 9 hole fees with cart are only $25! This would be a great time to bring your junior golfer out to practice for the tournament. This special will run through September. For more information you may call 282-7888 and ask for Darla.
