There is a new Recycle Center operated by Outback Resources taking the place of the recycle center to the West of the Fire Station. The new location is 1923 S. Division which is the old Northwest Center for Behavioral Health, across the street from Taco Bell. They accept everything but glass. If you have questions call 293-6516.
The Annual Chamber Awards Banquet was held last Thursday at the Guthrie Job Corps Center. Business of the Year for 2012 was awarded to the Guthrie Job Corps Center, Citizen of the Year for 2012 was awarded to Dan Newton, The Jon Gumerson Memorial Volunteer of the Year for 2012 was awarded to Sue DuCharme. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Don Coffin.
Rotary Club has their annual Spaghetti Feed, Thursday March 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. then from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
