Chamber Chat: TAG to host Potluck Picnic at Mineral Wells Park

Hi there! I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend! This coming Friday, Cathy James will be retiring after serving fifteen and a half years with the OSU Extension Office! There will be a reception for her from 2pm to 4pm if you would like to stop by and thank her for her service to our community.

We have lots of members doing lots of things this month! The Rock-A-Way Tavern had their 4th Annual Rock-A-Way/Gooch-Smith Electric Open Noodling Tournament (Sponsored by Eskridge Chevrolet) last weekend! They had over 675 pounds of fish weighed in and the winner of Big Fish was 81 pounds which they think matched the OK record!  Their tournament is growing and bringing people in from all over Oklahoma and other states as well. If you remember Rock-A-Way was on the History Channel and National Geographic featuring Mudcats! The second place team had a film crew with them for their new reality show based out of Lawton so be watching for Rock-A-Way on TV again! Congratulations!

Bring your instrument of choice, games, sleeping bag, or whatever, and have a great time! Their flyer is below, and was created by Chamber Member Shawn Hancock, as was the Apothecary Nights flyer. Please feel free to copy them and share! That Shawn is quite a talented guy!
