“I would like to let you know that I will be leaving the Chamber by the end of this month. I’ve had a wonderful time and worked with some fantastic people but it’s time to move on to my next venture,” Coffin said in a weekly email memo.

Coffin’s resignation was accepted by the Chamber board of directors last week.

Coffin, who took over the Chamber in 2009 and served on the Guthrie city council (2007-14) , says she is going back to what she loves to do.

“As you might know I was in the hospitality business for twenty years prior to taking the position here at the Chamber. Food Trucks/Trailers are one of the hottest things going right now and I was able to talk my baby brother Ben (Coffin), who is a classically trained chef, into doing this venture with me.

A selection committee has been formed by the Chamber board to search for Coffin’s successor.
