When Cherokee Rice was an 11-year-old girl on vacation when she was given a disposalable camera to capture photos and now two years later she is showing some of her great moments caught on camera at the recent Guthrie Art Walk.
Rice, who is the granddaughter of Boyd and Linda Rice, had a display of the photos that she has taken at her grandparents Heritage Collection store.
While she has upgraded her camera, Cherokee, a student at Guthrie Junior High, continues to take amazing pictures from animals to railroad tracks to bright colors.
It would appear they were enhanced by a computer design program, but Cherokee says they are natural as they were taken.
If you would like to see some of her photographs you can stop by Heritage Collection at 118 W. Oklahoma.
