Circus comes to Cashion to benefit youth sports on September 22

The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is heading to Cashion, on Monday, September 22, for an exciting family event and fundraiser for the Cashion Athletic Sports Association. The circus will be held at Ben Kates Memorial Park on Ess Blvd. West of Town, with performances at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Known for providing quality family entertainment for over 40 years, the One-Ring, Big Top Circus has been featured on A&E’s Under the Big Top, Nick News’ On the Road with Circus Kids, and OETA’s Big Top Town. This year’s 2025 performance includes Big Cats presented by Trey Key, aerialist Simone on the trapeze, the Perez Daredevil Duo on the tightrope and Wheel of Destiny, the high-energy Macias family juggling act, and circus clown Leo Acton.

Families can also enjoy activities starting at 9:30 a.m., including tent raising and a tour, with the Midway opening at 4:00 p.m., featuring pony rides, moon bounce, giant slide, face painting, and concessions. Each show lasts approximately 90 minutes.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • Advance tickets: Adults $13 | Children (2–12) & Seniors (65+) $8
  • Box office: Adults $16 | Children & Seniors $9

Advance tickets can be purchased at Legacy Insurance & Financial Services, Small Town Revival Coffee & Bites, and Rustic Rose Mercantile, with more money going back to the local community.

This event promises an unforgettable circus experience while supporting local youth sports in Cashion.
