The City of Guthrie approved a new, optional program available to homeowners, provided through the National League of Cities Service Line Warranty Program administered Utility Service Partners (USP). The Service Line Warranty program provides low cost, worry-free warranty protection for water and sewer lines.
Many citizens are unaware that they are responsible for the sewer lines that go from their houses to the property line. If those lines break or leak, repairs can be very expensive. The Service Line Warranty program can be an affordable way to avoid the unexpected and often large expense involved with a sewer line break. The program, which was unanimously voted on at the Guthrie Public Works Authority, will offer warranty protection to help cover the costs of a break.
Nearly 200 cities are participating in the nationwide program, including here locally in Oklahoma with Lawton, Moore and Stillwater.
Guthrie residents will see offers in their mail boxes soon. The cost for citizens, who choose to purchase the warranty protection, is roughly $6 to $8 per month with no contracts. The program is month-to-month and has no cancellation fees. The program is offered at no cost to the City of Guthrie, and no public funds are used to promote the program.
The work performed will be of local, certified technicians and is often done in 24 hours. USP will cover the portion of the lateral water and sewer line that could be near the city hook-up, to underground, under a slab and to the pipes that you can touch inside your home.
USP is staffed 24/7 with a hotline for residents and is available every day of the year.
Undeniably believe that which you said. Your favourite justification seemed to be on the net the simplest factor to
have in mind of. I say to you, I certainly get irked at the same time as
other people consider concerns that they plainly don’t recognise about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top and outlined out the entire thing without having side-effects , folks could take a signal.
Will probably be again to get more. Thanks
