Banner Park officially opened up on Wednesday morning. Along with the City of Guthrie’s first splash pad, walking trails, pavilions and restrooms were also opened to the public.
The playground portion of the park remains under construction and will remain fenced off until completion.
The park, which is located on Warner Ave. between 10th and 11th streets, has been funded through the City’s three-quarters sales tax known as the Capital Improvement Projects (CIP).
