BC Bail Bonds and Guthrie are about to be shown to a national television audience this weekend on CMT as Duane “Dog”, Beth and Leland Chapman help the local bail bond company find their wanted men.
The Chapman’s and their production crew were in Guthrie on April 13 filming an episode for their new show Dog and Beth: On the Hunt. The show will air this Sunday (June 16) at 7 p.m. Show Preview

“It has been really good feedback,” Bryce Culbert said from his downtown office on the recognition his company has gained even before the airing of the show. Bryce, along with his wife Becca, have operated BC Bail Bonds since 2004 after moving to Logan County in 1999.

The Chapman’s new show features Dog and Beth stepping out of their headquarters in Hawaii to unite with bail bondsmen from around the country as they hunt down some of America’s most dangerous criminals.
The Culbert’s were in the process of having their webpage design when their publisher took a job with the Chapmans and suggested that they come to Guthrie. While both sides talked for several months in advance about coming to Guthrie, it was not announced when the production crew were coming. In fact, the Culbert’s had a 30-minute notice before a large traveling van and multiple SUV’s came traveling down their drive way ready to film.
“At the beginning it was really nerve-wracking as you try to find out what do you say or what do you do,” Bryce said. “After a while they (cameras) begin to fade in the background and you get comfortable.”
Bryce says he is not certain what he will see on the show with editing, but says he is both excited and nervous.

“Obviously there is some anxiety of what I am going to see. I know there are going to be some things like ‘what I did not say that’ due to editing.
The Chapman’s help the Culberts find a man who was not showing to court and not checking in with the bail bondsmen, but now Bryce says he is one of their best clients.
“He’s probably one of our models now days. He calls every week and does what he needs to do.”
For the Chapman’s show, they received some good news this week as CMT has picked up an additional 11 episodes of the first season to make it a full 22 episodes.
“We knew Dog and Beth would shake up the programming landscape at CMT and they’ve done just that, more than doubling our quarter-to-date prime average,” Jayson Dinsmore said in a statement. “In addition to ratings success, the show has seen the largest level of social media engagement of any previous CMT series, with an incredibly dedicated, impassioned fan base. Dog, Beth, Leland and Electus are fantastic to work with, and we look forward to getting them back on the road to continue the hunt.”
