Bluejay fans will have the chance to rally behind their favorite student-athletes and performers at the annual “Meet the Jays” event, set for Friday, August 8, at historic Jelsma Stadium, affectionately known as The Rock.
The evening kicks off with free burgers and hot dogs at 5:15 p.m., generously sponsored by John Vance Motors.
This community celebration will introduce all Guthrie High School and Junior High fall sports teams, including softball, cross country, volleyball, football, and cheer, as well as the Bluejay Band. It’s a great opportunity for fans, families, and community members to meet the student participants who will be representing Guthrie this fall.
The event serves as the unofficial kickoff to the Bluejay fall athletic season, showcasing the spirit and tradition that define Guthrie.
