Their spirited campaign culminated with the drawing of three raffle winners: Brock Maroney – iPad; Sterling Johnson – 50” flat screen TV and Jenifer Vaughn – Thunder Package.  As Laura Meyer, campaign coordinator said, “we had another wonderful campaign and three very happy raffle winners, of course, the real winners are the citizens of Logan County who receive services and support through the United Way.”

Meyer went on to say, “we strongly believe in supporting our community and recognize the impact of the United Way. We feel privileged to contribute so such an important cause. We are so proud of the employees of our six organizations who come together each year during this campaign and give time and money to make a difference in our community.

Jeff Chappell, Companion CEO, has created a special focus and excitement in the organizations that resulted in an increase of over $1,000 more being raised over last year.

“The United Way, through the partner agencies they support, touch so many people and positively impact so many lives, young and old, that it is an easy “sell” whether you are asking for employee donations or selling raffle tickets. Our employees have embraced this campaign, just like they embrace the people that they care for everyday in their jobs. They are a giving group and I am very proud of them,” Chappell said.
