A working crew was working on Guthrie’s viaduct bridge Wednesday afternoon when they noticed yet another hole on the viaduct bridge.
The eastbound lane, near the top of the bridge, is the most recent obstacle the 76-year-old bridge has seen in recent months. The bridge connects Guthrie’s east and west sides.
ODOT was called to the bridge and put a temporary metal plate over the hole until they can put a more temporary patch down. It is unknown when the repair is expected to take place.
The bridge was shut down for about 60 minutes.
