GUTHRIE – Cornwell Pharmacy is offering free professional photos with Santa (and maybe Mrs. Claus) on Tuesday, December 20, from 9:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Dr. Ryan Wyssmann, PharmD of Cornwell Pharmacy said, “This is our third year in a row to offer this to the people of Guthrie and it’s an event we really look forward to. The Santa and Mrs. Claus we work with are involved in a special project called Candy Cane Village. By donating to their project we not only help Guthrie, we support an important goal.”
Candy Cane Village is part of the mission of 21st Century Santa, a faith-based nonprofit organization who presents the magic of Christmas to families with children who experience challenges or effects of disasters, military families, and the general public. They are specifically focused on meeting the needs of children, who face challenges in life—life-threatening disease, natural disasters, physical or mental handicaps, poverty, difficulty in school, foster care, parents in the military or some type of abuse.
The professional photos will be provided by Sooner Memories. Photos will be professionally retouched and professionally printed, and all expenses completely covered by Cornwell Pharmacy as a gift to the community of Guthrie.
