Three people were taken to the hospital Monday evening following a two-vehicle crash that set one vehicle on fire.
Crescent and Guthrie fire departments, along with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and Oklahoma Highway Patrol, were dispatched to the intersection of SH-74 and SH-33 for a crash resulting in one vehicle being engulfed with flames and another person trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Witnesses said the person inside the burning vehicle was lucky and able to get out of the vehicle. The other patient was trapped before being freed.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol was on the scene investigating the crash.
Two patients was taken to the hospital by Miller EMS and the other by a medical helicopter.
Traffic was being diverted from the crash by deputies.
No other information was immediately known at the scene. OHP is expected to release a report following the initial investigation.
