Deputy Long, K-9 honored with statewide award

K-9 Deputy Katlin Long and her four-legged partner, Lawrie, with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office have been recognized for their outstanding service and dedication to narcotics enforcement. The duo was honored as the Regional K-9 Deputy of the Year by the Association of Oklahoma Narcotic Enforcers (AONE) during the organization’s annual banquet.

Deputy Long and K-9 Lawrie have made a significant impact in their county through their tireless work in narcotics detection and enforcement. Their efforts have not only led to meaningful arrests and drug seizures but have also strengthened community safety and awareness.

Sheriff Damon Devereaux and members of the office were on hand to support Long at the banquet.
