A Logan County Sheriff’s deputy is recovering after being attacked by multiple dogs while responding to a domestic incident on Monday evening.
On September 1, at approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 5500 block of Devin Drive for a reported domestic disturbance. Deputies attempted to arrest John Marley, who was reportedly not following commands.
During the arrest, a deputy was bitten approximately five times by multiple dogs. The injured deputy was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is said to be doing well.
In the midst of the attack, three dogs were shot and killed. Marley was arrested on an active warrant and for obstructing an officer.
