A downtown Guthrie restaurant announced on social media they are closing their doors.
Sinaloa Signature Restaurante, an eatery that opened in February 2023, announced on August 7th that it has officially closed its doors. The announcement was made on social media, where the owners expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the community and shared the challenges they faced in trying to establish their unique concept.
In their statement, the owners of Sinaloa Signature Restaurante conveyed their deep disappointment at not being able to meet their goals of introducing an authentic and original Mexican dining experience to Guthrie. Despite their best efforts to bring something different to the community, they ultimately decided to close the restaurant.
“We are very sorry if we could not conquer the hearts of Guthrie,” the statement read. “Believe me, we did our best to please you, but we failed to achieve our goals… At least we tried despite trying for almost two years and many difficulties. I feel proud of all my family who tried by my side… To all our employees who gave their best to make you feel at home, thank you!”
The owners thanked the Guthrie community for their support and expressed their pride in the effort they made to bring an authentic and original dining experience to the area. “It was a pleasure to offer our services. God bless you all!” the statement concluded.
