A head start school teacher and her husband have been arrested after a child showed up to a Headstart program with a marijuana pipe in a child’s diaper.
Logan County deputies arrested Jesse and Jessica Renaker on complaints of child neglect, possession of CDS, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Jessica Renaker teaches at the Headstart program in Coyle, but is not employeed by Coyle Public Schools.
Deputies were called by DHS on February 2nd in reference to a referral they got from the Guthrie Headstart program when they found the pipe in the diaper. Deputies went to the residence of the Renaker’s to follow-up on the complaint and to check the welfare of the children in the home.
Both children were taken into DHS custody.
