Bluejays shut the door early on Moore, capturing an 8-2 victory on Thursday at Choctaw.
The game was decided quickly as Bluejays exerted its will early with six runs in the first three innings.
An error and during the first inning and an RBI single by Jacob Chappell in the second inning fueled Bluejays’ offense early.
Bluejays was led by a flawless day at the dish by Jacob, who went 2-2 against Moore’s pitching.
Rowdy Reihs struck out seven, paving the way for a Bluejays win. Rowdy allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over seven innings.
Tyler Martin was charged with the loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
After a quick strike from Moore, Bluejays responded with one run in the second.
Bluejays built upon its lead with three runs in the third. The inning looked promising, as Rowdy singled, scoring Blaze Hastings to kick things off.
Bluejays increased its lead with two runs in the sixth. A ground out scored Reed Roberts to get Bluejays on the board in the inning.
