A rollover crash disrupted traffic early Wednesday morning at one of Guthrie’s unique intersections.
The incident occurred around 6:45 a.m. at Division Street and Harrison Avenue.
A black Mercedes was traveling northbound on Division when, for reasons still unknown, it collided with a legally parked vehicle. The impact caused the Mercedes to roll onto its side and push the parked car onto the sidewalk.
The young driver of the Mercedes was trapped inside the overturned vehicle and had to be freed by personnel from the Guthrie Fire Department. Fortunately, the driver was treated at the scene and declined medical transport.
Northbound traffic on Division Street was temporarily rerouted while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
