It was felt as far as Edmond, but an earthquake struck Logan County at 12:53 Tuesday afternoon.
The epicenter of the earth shaking was between the cities of Langston and Guthrie.
The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed the 2.8 quake was four miles west-southwest of Langston and six miles east northeast of Guthrie. The depth of the quake was approximately three miles down.

No injuries or damages have been reported.
In November 2011, an earthquake registered a 5.6 and its epicenter was four miles east of Sparks in Lincoln County, according to the USGS. The 5.6 is the largest quake Oklahoma has ever felt. The previous strongest earthquake was April 9, 1952 in El Reno.
