Earthquake rumbles through eastern Logan County

Residents in eastern Logan County felt a bit of a rumble on Saturday morning following an earthquake just across the county line.

A 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately at 11:20 a.m. Its epicenter was located near the intersection of W 116th St. and S. Hackelman Rd. in Payne County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was just outside of the towns of Coyle and Langston.

It was 3.7 miles deep.

No immediate damages or injuries associated with the earthquake have been reported.
