Education spending is a hot topic ahead of the new legislative session and midyear adjustments, which are expected to cut funds for local schools.
Moore Public Schools just released a You Tube video entitled “Breaking the Silence ” that has already been viewed 158,000 times.
In 12 minutes, 15 teachers and administrators share their struggles inside and outside of the classroom, and their concerns for the state of public education in Oklahoma.
The idea stemmed from a September survey that Moore Superintendent Robert Romines circulated among certified staff in the suburban district on Oklahoma City’s southside.
