An elderly man was flown to an Oklahoma City hospital Wednesday afternoon following a serious tractor accident in rural Logan County.
The 911 call came in at 12:21 p.m. reporting a tractor incident in a field located east of Backhaus Road along Industrial Road. Emergency responders were dispatched after a person discovered the man unresponsive but still breathing.
Preliminary reports suggest the man may have exited the tractor to inspect it and possibly forgot to set the brake. As a result, he was reportedly run over by the tractor.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene and is conducting an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
The man was transported by air ambulance to a hospital in Oklahoma City. His condition has not been released.
