A family argument in the early morning hours of Sunday sent one person to an Oklahoma City hospital with a gunshot wound.
At 2:23 a.m., the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shots fired call the 19000 block of E. Charter Oak Road in far southeast Logan County.
Sheriff officials tell Guthrie News Page once deputies arrived on the scene, a male was found with a gunshot wound thru both calves.
Deputies applied multiple tourniquets in an attempt to stop the bleeding.
EMSA transported the victim to a metro hospital.
One subject was placed in custody at the scene and brought to the Sheriffs Office. The subject was reportedly helping render aid to the victim until law enforcement could arrive.
The shooting was a result of an argument amongst family members, according to sheriff officials.
No further details have been made available as of Sunday afternoon.
