Many people in the Guthrie area dialed up social media after they felt an earthquake at around 2 a.m. and again just after 5 a.m. Turns out they were not dreaming.
Earthquakes shook central Oklahoma in the early morning hours of Tuesday as The United State Geological Survey confirmed five tremors.

The first earth-shaking experience, that was felt in Guthrie, was the strongest with a 4.3 reading and was centered near Luther at around 1:58 a.m. The quake was felt as far north as Stillwater.
The first morning quake was a reported 3.0 near Chandler at 1:45 a.m.
The second quake to be felt in Guthrie came at 5:16 a.m. when it registered a 4.2. Again, it was near Luther and registered 22 miles southeast of Guthrie.
All five tremors were five miles deep.
No injuries and minor damage have been reported.
